“Like“ como comparativo.

Para termos o “like” como função de comparação entre duas coisas, precisamos alterar a estrutura da frase para “like + noun”.

In the following comparisons, like is followed by a noun or a pronoun to say that two things are similar.

Ex.: He’s like a father to me.

She’s acting like a child.

There are lots of people like us.

Também é comum que o “like” ainda seja o verbo principal mesmo em sentido de comparativo.

Ex: She looks like her mother.

It sounds like a cat.

Nothing tastes like homemade lemonade.
